DVD Review: ‘Angels In Stardust’

‘Angles In Stardust’ is a coming of age movie starring AJ Michalka (The Goldbergs, Grace Unplugged) who wants to make a better life for herself.

Young writer and high school student Vallie Sue (AJ) wants to leave the little dump of a town she lives in. Her mother Tammy (Alicia Silverstone) is a trampy woman, who pretty much ignores her kids. If Tammy has her ways, Vallie will end up with pregnant with one of the local men.

Vallie thought has other ideas. And with the help of a mysterious cowboy (Billy Burke) that only she sees, Vallie gets encouragement to follow her dreams and live a better live.

It’s an interesting coming of age look at small time America mid-western life. Billy Burke is fantastic in his role of the cowboy encouraging Vallie. These scenes are the best part of the movie.

‘Angels In Stardust’ is available in stores on March 25.
