Disney’s Beauty and the Beast is the classic story of Belle, a young woman in a provincial town, and the Beast, who is really a young prince trapped in a spell placed by an enchantress. If the Beast can learn to love and be loved, the curse will end and he will be transformed to his former self. But time is running out. If the Beast does not learn his lesson soon, he and his household will be doomed for all eternity.
Who doesn’t love the story of beauty and the beast right?! The smash Broadway musical based on the award winning animated movie returns to the beautiful Winspear Opera House in the heart of Dallas. Presented by the theatrical production company, NETworks, seeing Beauty & The Beast live is just as magical as the classic tale of Belle and the Beast. Everything from the stage to the music is an enchantment the entire family can appreciate. Anything that NETworks puts their stamp on is destined to be filled with the best talent out there. Vocally, Beauty & The Beast has surely set the standard in terms of what to expect from a Broadway musical. Brooke Quintana (Belle) and Sam Hartley’s (Beast) chemistry is amazing and their range vocally is unbelievable. Each of the character’s costumes looked exactly how they were in the film which literally brings the film to life. NETworks did a phenomenal job here and with such a short stint here in Dallas, Beauty & The Beast The Musical should be on your family’s summer to do list.
