Sylvie Lee is missing and now the search is on for her. She was suppose to be on a plane returning from the Netherlands where she was staying with her aunt and uncle and visiting with her dying Grandmother (who ended up passing away). No one has a clue where she is. She lived there for the first nine years of her life and then moved back to the United States to live with her Ma and Pa and sister Amy.
Amy flies there to try and find her and figure out where she is. When there she starts to find out secrets that have been going on over the years and when Sylvie had just been there. The more she searches the more secrets she starts to uncover. We also learn Sylvie’s story via her own words leading up to what happened to her.
When the truth finally comes out it leads to a shocking twist in the family.
It’s a very compelling story with rich characters, grand settings and twists and turns you don’t see coming leading up to the final reveal. A great summer read from that you won’t want to put down.
You can pick it up in stores on Tuesday, June 4th from William Morrow.
