Blu-ray Review: ‘Gotham: The Complete Third Season’

“Warner Bros. Home Entertainment provided me with a free copy of the DVD I reviewed in this Blog Post. The opinions I share are my own.”

Season three revolved again around saving the citizens of Gotham from the bad guys. Jim Gordon (Ben McKenzie) has turned bounty hunter in search of the DC villains known as the Indian Hill gang. Bruce (David Mazouz) has a doppelganger in town and his identity is accidentally revealed. Bullock and Barnes meanwhile are still fighting crime and trying to keep everyone safe. Bruce Wayne is learning there was more to his parents murders than he thought. By the end of the season a virus has been set in Gotham and some of the good guys are infected with it. A desperate bid is made to end the virus before it’s too late but not before tragic consequences take place.

Super villains this season include Penguin (Robin Lord Taylor), The Riddler (Cory Michael Smith), Poison Ivy, Mad Hatter and Fish Mooney is back played by Jada Pinkett Smith.

Overall another strong season which is moving forward in the DC Universe with new characters and reveals of old characters we have know for years with backstories we haven’t know before.

You can own Gotham: The Complete Third Season on Blu-ray and DVD Tuesday, August 28.
