Hollywood’s biggest stars turn up for Britain’s most glamorous night in this famed awards ceremony honoring the best of the year in film, featuring new host Joanna Lumley (Absolutely Fabulous).
The EE British Academy Film Awards, which takes over Royal Albert Hall in London, will be broadcast exclusively in the US on BBC AMERICA on Sunday, February 18 at 8/7c – the same day the ceremony airs in the UK. In addition, the EE British Academy Film Awards red carpet will stream live at 12 pm ET on BBCAmerica.com.

The Shape of Water leads with 12 nominations while Darkest Hour and Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri tie with nine. Blade Runner 2049 and Dunkirk both score eight, with I, Tonya and Call Me by Your Name at four and five, respectively. Phantom Thread receives four, and Lady Bird three.
The nominees for the EE Rising Star Award include Timothée Chalamet, Tessa Thompson, Florence Pugh, Josh O’Connor, and Daniel Kaluuya. This award is voted for by the British public and presented to an actress or actor who has demonstrated exceptional talent and promise.
