Wizard World, Inc. (OTCBB: WIZD) continues its 2016 schedule with its seventh visit to the Austin Convention Center at Wizard World Comic Con Austin, September 23-25. “Doctor Who’s” Matt Smith and Karen Gillan, Sebastian Stan (Captain America), William Shatner (“Star Trek,” “Boston Legal”), Danny Trejo (Machete, From Dusk Till Dawn), Bruce Campbell (Army of Darkness, Evil Dead), Lee Majors (“Six Million Dollar Man,” “The Fall Guy”), and James Marsters (“Buffy: The Vampire Slayer”) headline the roster of celebrity guests scheduled to attend the pop culture extravaganza. Other well-known guests at Wizard World Comic Con Austin include Ray Santiago and Dana DeLorenzo (“Ash vs Evil Dead”), Nicholas Brendon (“Buffy the Vampire Slayer”), Yuri Lowenthal (voice actor – Ben 10, Fallout 4, Skylanders), Tara Platt (voice actor – Naruto, Ben 10, Bleach), and Chris 51 (“Epic Ink”).
Wizard World is also the home of the most creative comics artists and writers on the planet. Artist Alley at Wizard World Comic Con Austin will feature Dean Haspiel (“Bored to Death,” “American Splendor”), Michael Golden (“Spider-Man,” “Daredevil”), Phil Ortiz (“The Simpsons,” “He-Man”), Stuart Sayger (“Infestation 2: 30 Days of Night,” “Machete”), Tom Cook (“She-Ra,” “Superfriends”), James O’Barr (“The Crow”), Danny Fingeroth (“Spider-Man,” “Iron Man”), Clinton Hobart (“Disney fine artist”) and many others.
Wizard World Comic Con events bring together thousands of fans of all ages to celebrate the best in pop-fi, pop culture, movies, graphic novels, cosplay, comics, television, sci-fi, toys, video gaming, gaming, original art, collectibles, contests and more. The 15th event scheduled on the 2016 Wizard World calendar, Austin show hours are Friday, September 23, 3-8 p.m.; Saturday, September 24, 10 a.m.-7 p.m.; Sunday, September 25, 10 a.m.-4 p.m.
Wizard World Comic Con Austin is also the place for cosplay, with fans young and old showing off their best costumes throughout the event. Fans dressed as every imaginable character – and some never before dreamed – will roam the convention floor and participate in the famed Wizard World Costume Contest on Saturday night.
